Through the Lens of the Wild

Every photograph is a silent encounter with the wild where instinct, beauty, and raw emotion collide in untamed landscapes and untold stories.

Moments in Time

"It is not what you look at that matters, it is what you see"
— Henry David Thoreau

I search for those moment in time when I see things clearly, my mind is fully engaged, the distractions and burdens of life fall off my shoulders, and that small voice inside says "this is living!"

I have been involved with photography since 2015. It has involved various classes, tours, and workshops. It has taken me from the Arctic to the Antarctic and many points in between.

Meeting and learning from people along the way has been a great joy. Friends that have a similar appreciation for the world around us and the wildlife that inhabits the pristine places.

My evolution as a photographer has included learning what interests me and how to express that in my images. Which is really about self-examination. It is difficult at times but in the end a worthwhile endeavor.
